Why Bal Sanskar?

* To differentiate right from wrong and good from bad
* To make the society better
* To succeed with keeping God in the front

Gurukul Bal Sanskar presents kids with a unique platform where God is a part of education.  Values that make one happy and a community stronger are picked up at an early age.

Principles of non-violence, satisfaction, peace, ambition amongst others are implemented in daily life through rituals like prayers. Kids practice empathy when interacting with other kids and adults at the Gurukul.

As kids graduate from one level to the other they also get opportunities to mentor the younger kids through service and teachings.

Learn. Live. Inspire

Weekend classes are catered for kids from K-12. One class focuses on a values based curriculum to build moral and ethical characters in kids. The second focuses on teaching culture and secondary language.

Classes are held every weekend on Saturdays or Sundays depending on the location.

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm Values class
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm Culture class
4:30 pm - 5:00 pm Second language

Spirituality and humility

After the classes kids participate in the chanting of Swaminarayan Mahamantra and Kirtan Bhakti which encourages them to play musical instruments and to sing devotional Kirtans.
Following the Satsang assembly, kids get an opportunity to be servant leaders.  At the Gurukul all are equal because all serve.  Kids can engage in several opportunities of service like vacuuming the carpet
